Grading and feedback:

Group work will be evaluated by the anchor teachers with the help of utilizing the FINCODA barometer, which means that we will use peer and self assessment tools. Also the output will be evaluated via teacher and jury assessment. Also, qualitative comments will be given to the student groups in written format at the same time that they will be given their grade.

The basic logic of this barometer:

Class participation (20% of the total grade)

20% of the total grade will be based on class participation. This will be done via a  list online where individual mark will be put every day, so that the student can check their situation even daily if they want. Also the online system will be organized in that way that the student will see that if they keep the present activity level, then the grade will eventually be “x”. So, this way they have the possibility to alter their participation activity during the course. Additionally, we want to encourage the students to come and discuss with the anchor teachers if they want: they can come and discuss if they see their activity level in a different way compared to the online list. Also, if they can give good arguments, we can re-check the activity marks.

Also, qualitative comments will be given to the students individually in written format at the same time as they get their grade.
